Housekeeping can Earn You Instant Cash

Let’s start earning cash right away, this is the easiest part and your earnings will depend on you and your imagination.

If you have already been using eBay.com, you may skip this article or you may keep reading it and post additional useful suggestions if you have any.

First, you have to register with eBay.com and Paypal.com, it’s free and it’s very secure.  At the same time you will need a paypal account if you want to venture further in making money online.  Just follow the steps in registering, they may require you to give some financial and personal data, but don’t worry, paypal has never been hacked before, that’s the reason it made its way to various stores online.

After registration now it’s housekeeping time.  Check your closet, your garage, your stock room, your attic, check all the places where your old stuff that aren’t being used is kept.   Clean these places and sort all the old stuff that is still usable.  After doing this, now comes the earning part, start selling them in eBay.com

Before doing this, please take the time to read the seller fees in eBay, check also your local post office for the current postal fees so you know how much postage you are going to charge them, but of course, include a reasonable mark-up as it also includes handling but not to excessive or your buyers will go away for high postage fees.

Selling in eBay may be complicated at first, but be patient, you can do it, just follow the instructions, it will guide you step-by-step.  The next time around would be a breeze.  Just be honest in giving your description of your item, if there’s a big scratch mark, mention it, or your buyers will be mad as crazy and will dispute you in paypal.

Is there a chance you might  loose in this kind of endeavor?  Yes there is, but not much which also I think is very improbable, unless you’re selling things that’s supposed to be in the garbage.  Let’s say you have 100 items to sell, the listing fees might be around .20 – .30.  So if no one buys any single item of yours then you loose 20.00 – 30.00.  Indeed, very improbable :) .

Use your judgement when you sell your items, surf eBay  itself, look for familiar items, observe how the sellers describe their product, their postage fees etc. When I did this, I was able to earn roughly around 850.00 dollars in 3 weeks.  This included used items such as:

- audio CDs
- DVDs (Barney, James Bond, old movies)
- old shoes which was not used that much, still in new condition
- video games (PC & PS2)
- clothes which I wore twice or thrice, still in new condition
- cellphones
- computer speakers
- computer parts
- watches
- digital cameras
- gift items I never used
- and the list goes on etcetera…

Not bad I guess, the time spent in posting the items in eBay, wrapping them and taking them to the post office was well paid.

Well, if you made some money and might be interested in venturing forth, buying and selling or even manufacturing your own products, you have a huge market in front of you, who knows you might be the next Powerseller in eBay…
